Gregory Wilson (He/Him)

Brooklyn-born Gregory Wilson is a rising Artist, Producer and DJ, from the heart of Fort Greene Brooklyn.

As an Artist/Producer:

Greg is Inspired by legendary Marvin Gaye, J. Cole, Frank Ocean, Masego and Kendrick Lamar, and with his art seeks to combine Neo-soul, Spoken Word, Hip-Hop, and R&B, to not only inspire listeners to have a good time, but encourage listeners to learn to love themselves unapologetically. Gregory is not one to shy away from tough conversations in his music. Additionally, as an alumnus of both the Grammy Award Winning Brooklyn Youth Chorus, The Posse Foundation and the renowned Deans List Tour he is no stranger to preforming and having a good time while doing so. Having amassed several thousand streams worldwide, Performing at the Legendary S.O.B.’s In NYC, Events with Lululemon and Headlining A sold-out show at in partnership with Major Stage, we eagerly await his next project.

As a Dj,

Greg often introduces himself as “The Brooklyn Favorite”, and seeks to actively in his sets to curate musical experiences that make clients and party goers feel young. Whether it be for SHip-Hop, Afrobeat, R&B, Dancehall, or Soca. His talents have taken him all over the world from London, to Malaga, and even the Caribbean.

“As a Dj from New York not only is the pressure and competition high, but we are charged to represent our city and maintain a musical vocabulary that reflects the various cultures represented in our neighborhoods.”

From a house parties in college to partnerships with the New York Public Library, and stages in Time Square, Gregory Wilson’s love for music spans decades, and has been a reason why corporations, clubs, and engaged couples, know that he is the one to call.

Soca Foodie (They/She)

Soca Foodie is a talented home chef of Barbadian-American descent, whose passion for food and love for diverse flavors have led her to create a truly unique culinary experience.

From a young age, Soca Foodie was inspired by their mother's, passion for cooking, her culinary skills and the ability use food as a means of bringing people together. Coming from a household that hosts family meals and gatherings, Soca Foodie understands firsthand that food is not only a means of literal sustenance, but as people of color, food and its pathways are a means by which we tell stories of survival.

Since 2021, Soca Foodie has shared their love of cooking and international flavors with wider audiences virtually on Instagram. Documenting and drawing inspiration from international travels to Thailand, Mexico, Barbados, St. Martin, to name a few Soca Foodie takes their followers on a mouthwatering journey, showcasing her fabulous dishes and offering a glimpse into her creative process. With each post, she celebrates the diverse mix of African, African American, and Caribbean flavors that define her unique culinary point of view.

Beyond their culinary arts Soca Foodie's brilliance shines in their acknowledgement that being fed and eating food are not synomous. With inclusivity and representation at the forefront of their journey, Soca Foodie proudly offers a black, woman-led, and queer friendly food experience, that unapologetically speaks on social issues, and shines light on unheard and underrepresented stories.

Embracing diversity, Soca Foodie creates a safe and welcoming space where everyone can indulge in her culinary delights, irrespective of their background or identity.
